Never a cloudy day
But the sunshine will follow,
Never a shattered plan
But a solution comes tomorrow.
Never a windy hillside
But the other side is calm,
Never a broken friendship
But new folks come along.
Never a problem so trying
That an answer can’t be found,
Never a task so distasteful
But something sweet comes around.
Never a year without teardrops
For life can be good and bad,
Never grow old without silver
But be happy for all that you’ve had.
