Hot Mulled Cider

Mary Palynchuk – Leader, Sask.

1⁄2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp whole cloves
dash ground nutmeg
8 cups cider or apple juice

1 tsp whole allspice
1⁄4 tsp salt
3-inch stick cinnamon

In a large pot, combine ingredients. Slowly bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Strain and serve.
