I’ve often heard the term easy money, but never really ever received any before. That changed a few days ago when I received a letter from The Senior Paper and to my surprise found a cheque inside for $50.
As we all know, ‘Golden Age’ pensions aren’t all that generous so an extra 50-bucks is sure welcome and all just for writing a short little story with a picture of Moose Head school and sending it to The Senior Paper.
Now, to me, that seems like ‘easy money’ so I’m going to write some more in hopes of my name being drawn again. Dennis and the staff publish a great newspaper, but it’s the stories submitted by all of you that make it great, so keep them coming.

Publisher’s Note: Hi Elmer! Thanks for the note and the kind words. I’m happy to hear you’re going to keep sending in stories. You’re absolutely right: it’s the stories submitted by our readers that make this paper great. I hope others will find inspiration in your letter and send in a story or two as well! All the best to you. – Dennis
